Roses of Color
In The Garden
A digital reproduction of the old art of hand coloring black and white photographs, these are closeups of roses, accompanied by an album of original New Age music.
Artist's Notes: This is an old art form, with a new look. When the only photography was in black and white, they used to color portions of the image with an oil-based paint. (You still can, the paint is still being made by the same company, and the art has enjoyed a resurgence in the last few years.) This is done digitally, so the colors are a little closer to the original images. Each image displays in black and white for 2 seconds, and the rose becomes colored for 10 seconds, just so you can see the contrast.
The file is 5.7 meg, runs under any version of Windows, sound is mutable, and it's a one-click uninstall. It's a large file because there are a lot high resolution images, and it displays well on any screen resolution.Music is an album of original compositions by Bruce De Boer, "Serenity".
