Each orchid is a gem floating in a conservatory setting, accompanied by an original album of restful music.
Thirty-two frames, 3.3 meg file, sound is mutable. High resolution photography is suitable for any screen resolution, any Windows-based operating system. Easy one-click uninstall. Wallpaper option can be set to change hourly, daily, weekly, or never. Transitional effects are user-configurable.
Artist's Notes: One of what will become a series of orchid screen savers, these came from the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Chicago, IL, in February 2002.
The images are shot in a digital media, and designed to display well on a computer screen. Because each picture is illuminated from behind, the flowers almost seem to leap out from the screen.Music is © Bruce DeBoer, 2000, from the album "Illusions", and is used by the kind permission of the composer. There are 12 different compositions in the screen saver, all from the same album.
